Spring Break!

Hooray!! It's EASTER BREAK!!!
I know that most people usually return home for this week of relaxation and rest from the binds of homework. Normally, I would too... but not this year.

For my Easter Break (man, I'm thankful I can call it that), I will be traveling to Mexico with a team of around 30 other Biola students as "Team Ezra". While we are there, we'll be providing "security" for the campground of none other than Biola's arch-rival: Azusa Pacific University. But hey, this is an opportunity to share His love with them too, right? haha... I'm just kidding. APU already has around 1,000 HS students there and we will be keeping them safe. That's our duty.

I'm really looking forward to this trip. This is a chance to grow closer to others from Biola whom I might not normally see, an opportunity to impact those there for His kingdom, and a purposeful chance to travel.

Well, I'd like to write more, but I've still got to pack...
If you can remember us and pray for us, that would be awesome! I might not even know you, but if your reading this blog there's a reason...
We need prayer for
safety
be a positive influence upon all whom we meet
that we would grow in Him through this experience
no rain
minimal wind
and anything else you feel led by the Holy Spirit to pray for

Thanks!
Have a great Easter Break!!

My First Post

Hey, I thought maybe I had better post now that I've gotten a blog. so here it goes:
umm... ya, so... tattoos...

Body Art? or Temple Defacation?
Is the imprinting of ink into your body the creation of a mark identifying yourself from other humans or the destroying of the temple of the Holy Spirit?
In 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, the Apostle Paul writes:
(19) Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; (20) you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.
